It is not uncommon in Dubai to see incredible spaces and modern office interiors. But what if your office is more than aesthetic but also experiential? Long gone are the days of dull and drab cubicle spaces in offices. Employers realize that office space can significantly affect employees’ creativity. Offices, especially creative agencies such as Spacewell Interior Design Studio, know this notion better than anyone. While offering interior design services for more than ten years, Spacewell design studio is also an experiential space. It is to show to clients and a maximum productivity space for its employees. The office showcases a glimpse of every design possibility through the playful use of space, technology, materials, and finishes. The client can touch and feel the materials they want or possibly use in their project. The office space allows to make it a show-off and a showroom of design and build services.

Being experiential and making the client a priority in mind, the employees who are the design studio’s primary users are also essential, nonetheless. Carefully attended also are the employees’ well-being and creativity. They believe that employees’ creativity and productivity stretch more than just a cubicle space but should flow anywhere, meaning employees can work in any area in their office during the day.

Concept Behind the Design:

Design Director Ar. Kern Parangan, a Filipino who has been in Spacewell Interiors since day 1, said they want clients to know that Spacewell Interiors can execute any designs from hard to “impossible ones.” This is loudly conceptualized by using origami as their design inspiration at the palatial reception area upon entering their office. He said, “origami is complicated and needs a high level of thinking,” same as with every project that Spacewell Interiors will undertake. “Nothing is impossible to Spacewell Interiors.”

Another feature of this design studio is the breakout area. A funky combination of different materials is an excellent example of how unlikely pairings of design and finishes should be. Moreover, the panoramic and clear view of the city and Burj Khalifa is its perfect glass window silhouette, an absolute place to relax, think and brainstorm. Step seats, lounges, nap areas, and phone booths are also accessible to employees anytime. Also, awarded with a USGB LEED Platinum in 2014 is this stunning workplace together with all its amenities. High technology equipment is also in places, such as Built-in lighting sensors, powered seating areas (ports, USB), most sit-stand desks, and smart glass or switchable glazing partitions.

Spacewell tells every aspiring and experienced designer in town that their office is a dream workplace. Creating an ideal office space should reflect a company’s culture, an area that can stir one’s senses, and a place with a feeling of pride in its employees and an attractive selling point. Spacewell Interiors nails it to any client and employees alike its unique experiential designs.
