Living Innovations unveiled its newly expanded Minotti showroom in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, offering a refreshed space to showcase the brand’s latest collections. This updated flagship location features a stunning array of timeless Italian luxury furniture, designed for both indoor and outdoor use.

The renovation highlights Minotti’s 2024 Collection, a testament to the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship and cultural diversity. Collaborating with global design masters like Marcio Kogan/Studio MK27, Nendo, GamFratesi, Hannes Peer, and Giampiero Tagliaferri, Minotti draws inspiration from Brazilian modernism, Japanese tradition, Scandinavian philosophy, and Milanese-Californian aesthetics. These influences blend seamlessly into a cohesive narrative, demonstrating the endless evolution of design.

The revamped Minotti Manila showroom amplifies this story, integrating pieces from different eras into curated living spaces. From relaxed outdoor lounges to elegant formal living rooms, the showroom inspires visitors to imagine these designs in their homes. “This renovation allows us to show clients how pieces from different years of Minotti collections can be combined to create a timeless look,” explains Ferdinand Ong, Living Innovations’ CEO and General Manager. “It’s about creating spaces you can enjoy now and pass on to future generations.”

Celebrating a Partnership Spanning Over Two Decades

Minotti, established in 1948, is a global leader in Italian luxury furniture. Renowned for its craftsmanship and timeless elegance, the brand continues to push the boundaries of contemporary design. Each piece reflects Italian artistry, crafted with premium materials and advanced techniques, making Minotti a top choice for sophisticated living spaces worldwide.

For 22 years, Living Innovations and Minotti maintained a strong partnership rooted in shared values. Ong’s initial encounter with Minotti at Milan’s Salone del Mobile in 2002 marked the beginning of this relationship. Starting with a modest 67-square-meter showroom at the Makati Shangri-La Retail Arcade, the partnership flourished, culminating in the expansive Bonifacio Global City location opened in 2014.

This larger showroom introduced Minotti’s “Made in Italy” ethos to a growing Filipino audience. As homes in Metro Manila expanded, clients embraced Minotti’s contemporary yet enduring styles. “Minotti’s designs are timeless. A sofa from 2024 will still complement a table from 2005,” Ong notes. “This allows clients to build their collection over the years.”

With designs that merge form and function, Minotti furniture creates spaces for meaningful interactions and shared experiences. Ong proudly shares that many of the sofas delivered 20 years ago remain in pristine condition, a testament to the brand’s superior quality.

A Storytelling Approach

When clients visit the showroom, the team narrates the Minotti lifestyle’s story, inspiring them to weave their own narratives at home. “This isn’t just furniture—it’s about creating a legacy,” Ong remarks.

The refined showroom includes standout features, such as an indoor-outdoor living area that showcases the 2024 Outdoor Collection. The redesigned ceiling evokes the coziness of a Filipino family room, while the removal of certain partitions opens up a grand living room for clients to interact with Minotti’s finest pieces.

A new entrance enhances accessibility, complementing the pedestrian-friendly doors along 5th Avenue with a side entrance for those arriving by car. These thoughtful updates ensure that the showroom reflects both luxury and practicality, aligning with Filipino lifestyles.

Designed for Filipino Hospitality

Ong emphasizes the synergy between Minotti’s living spaces and Filipino hospitality. The Yves sofa caters to spacious living rooms ideal for family gatherings, while the Supermoon sofa offers a striking option for smaller rooms. Complementing these are the Nico tables, which blend marble and wood into understated statement pieces.

These additions reflect the evolving tastes of Filipino clients, who seek functional luxury for their homes. “Our goal is to help clients visualize how the Minotti lifestyle fits into their spaces,” Ong says. Living Innovations offers personalized consultations, where their team of designers and architects can help clients design a space or collaborate with their current designers to finalize configurations, fabrics, and finishes.
