Lakehall: A Contemporary Space Nestled Within Nature
Where does one celebrate milestones? For big events that become core memories, wherever you are at that moment becomes the place that glows with a luminous, dream-like hue your mind would recall in times when nostalgia fiddles with your thoughts. And in most cases, these are also the places where new stories are created.
Lakehall at Nena’s Sanctuary was made with that intent in mind. An events space in Sta. Elena Golf and Country Estate in Sta. Rosa, Laguna combining a serene lakeside view with golf course and garden views on the side, Lakehall is a contemporary space where nature contributes to the creation of memories. According to Donnie Tantoco, Chairman of Lakehall, Nena’s Sanctuary was made with their family serving as the inspiration for its conceptualization.
“Nena’s sanctuary at its heart and soul, is a tribute to my parents and a wellspring of what will hopefully be opportunities for our children where they can grow, express their creativity, and pursue their dreams.”

Alongside architect and Lakehall’s representative for the design process and construction, Miko Delos Reyes, Lakehall was created with the combined efforts of a bigger design team including architect Bong Recio, Cardy Papa Design Studio, and Interior Designer Cyndi Fernandez.
Lakehall carries an enchanting vibe that mirrors its surroundings. The Banquet hall which can house up to 360 guests boasts high ceilings clad in wood, concrete botanical walls, and modern drop lights. With glass-sliding doors, visitors will be able to enjoy the refreshing lake and garden views. Upon entering, guests would find themselves in the Peony room where they can access the Courtyard and the Garden where adjacent to it, lies the Dahlia room. The Iris room meanwhile faces out unto the terrace and the deck with views that outlook the lake.

The Garden meanwhile can comfortably seat up to 500 guests and is an ideal outdoor lounging area like the Terrace, the most beautiful spot in Lakehall where everyone can also enjoy lake and garden views. Lakehall also has two bridal suites dubbed the Gardenia and Orchid which can be booked for overnight stays or could be simply used as a touch-up or dress change area.
Lakehall’s architect Jose Pedro “Bong” Recio of Rchitects, Inc., is the founder of this 15-year-old architecture firm with experience in designing high-rise residential and office structures, hotels and resorts, and commercial establishments.
