Urban Abode celebrates their fifth anniversary with a new collection that perfectly pictures summer in Manila. IDYLLIC: Days in the Sun is actually a throwback to the childhood of Urban Abode’s Principal Designer, Kristine Neri.
Urban Abode’s principal designer Interior Designer Kristine Neri draws inspiration for the collection from her childhood. She is reminded if the solihiya chair she would sit on while listening to her grandma’s stories, and the peacock headboard her aunt used to have. These tiny details are rekindled in Urban Abode’s latest collection. And while it might be inspired by something personal for the designer, a lot of us can surely relate to those details in the homes we grew up in. This collection wants to bring those details back in our homes but with a very modern and trendy twist.
Proudly mixing local woven textures and western patterns, Urban Abode’s IDYLLIC are new but visually familiar for everyone. Nostalgic charm are the first words that come to mind upon seeing the collection. There’s indoor and outdoor furniture pieces that will surely add a whimsical twist to your home.
