The festival website lists over a hundred judges for WAF 2018. Four members of the Super Jury for the Building of the Year have already been revealed: David Adjaye, Nathalie de Vries, Mohsen Mostafavi, and Li Xiaodong.

WAF 2018 is set to be held on 28 – 30 November 2018 at RAI Exhibition and Convention Center, Amsterdam.

At WAF 2017, Streetlight Tagpuro in Tacloban, Philippines, won the Civic and Community Completed Building and Small Projects categories. Streetlight Tagpuro is the first Philippine entry to win at the WAF main competition.

The Building of the Year Award 2017 went to China University of Hong Kong for their post-earthquake reconstruction of Guangmine village, which won the New & Old – Completed Buildings category.
