This contemporary home in Tagaytay stands tall in its own bright corner. The crisp lines and stark contrast of its interiors draw you in. Inside, the contemporary home is dressed in a neutral color scheme with hints of wood. Each furniture piece and accessory placed harmoniously together in one space.
Happy Fernandez, the interior designer of this home, explains that the house wasn’t supposed to look like this. The owners wanted something ultra modern, a break from their other house which is very Victorian and dated. However, taking into consideration the location and the surrounding area, Happy recommended a more tropical and contemporary home with wooden accents.

Neutral tones were used all throughout the house, especially in the dining area where mixed but matched dining chairs were placed. Noritake, Versace, and Hermes dining pieces from the owner’s personal collection add a classic touch to the dining table.

Laser cut metal accents are used in the ceiling and columns of the formal dining area. The kitchen is a clean sight with white as the dominating color.
The powder room is decorated with mosaic tiles and is given a luxe touch through the chandelier. An old world charm and a girly pink gives one of the rooms a feminine appeal.
In the master bedroom, a dance between whites and browns make the room extremely relaxing. Two Heads Design handled most of the woodwork in the contemporary home. Happy says that they took care of the handcrafting, installation, and even the paint finish. “I entrusted them because of their expertise, as seen in their past projects,” shares Happy.
The outdoor lounging area is a great spot for the family of the owner to come together and bond. The overall architecture is a combination of simple lines and neutral colors.
