One of the highlights of the year for architects around the world is the annual World Architecture Festival (WAF), a prestigious event dedicated to the architecture and development industry. In 2022, the festival will run from November 30 to December 2, 2022 at Lisbon, Portugal with the theme ‘Together’.

For 15 years, the event has been celebrating innovative architecture and designers worldwide. As one of the largest architecture events, WAF hosts awarding ceremonies, seminars, and networking. Finalists will also have to present their projects to a panel of judges.

Over the years, several Filipino-designed projects have been recognized at the prestigious architecture event. This year, 10 local projects, representing eight firms, made the cut at WAF 2022, including works from finalists and winners of the previous years.
