Every single person that walks this Earth has their own definition of “luck.” Some think karma has something to do with it, others believe it’s in the stars, while there are those who rely on the ancient Chinese traditional practice of Feng Shui. But what is Feng Shui, exactly? In this webinar with BluPrint and Scavolini that will premiere live on August 31, 2022, we will be provided with more knowledge about Feng Shui in the context of designing one’s humble abode, especially the heart of every home: the kitchen.

Who to look out for

A gathering such as this one won’t be possible without the special appearances of renowned experts from the industry to give us their honest opinions on Feng Shui and how the practice is worth taking into consideration when it comes to design.

Daryl Huang will grace everyone’s presence with his understanding and mastery of Feng Shui. The principal consultant at Property Online Asia Inc. who focuses on destiny and Feng Shui began his venture into Chinese metaphysics when he was still a teenager, having studied under some of the most legendary Feng Shui masters in Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan. As someone who is as passionate as him in the said study, his continuous effort in research led him to further refine his techniques for modern-day living that doesn’t only follow the classical way of Feng Shui, but also ideate methods that have won great praise from world-renowned masters in Taiwan.

Ed Calma, Design Principal of Lor Calma & Partners, will also be joining the event to shed light on his thoughts on the matter. The acclaimed Architect is known for his distinctly modern style, making him among the country’s most sought-after designers. His extensive portfolio spans from popular attractions and universities like The Mind Museum and De La Salle College of Saint Benilde’s School of Design and Arts building, respectively.

Sisters Cynthia and Ivy Almario are the Interior Designers behind the design studio Atelier Almario. After honing their talent in Los Angeles for about 15 years, designing sophisticated residences and commercial spaces, the powerhouse duo moved to Manila and has since developed a strong list of satisfied clients. The Almario sisters are known for their interior design style that evokes luxury, elegance, and indulgence, and we most definitely cannot wait to find out if they consider Feng Shui when designing for their growing clientele.

Last but certainly not least, this webinar focused on Feng Shui and design wouldn’t be complete without Brian Hontiveros, General Manager of Modularity Home. Established over a decade ago, Modularity Home is the exclusive Philippine distributor of premium Italian home brands, including Scavolini, Italy’s biggest kitchen manufacturer. Throughout the years, Brian and Modularity Home have continuously preserved the Italians’ indelible vision of providing synergized life spaces matched with exemplary service so families can enjoy a timeless experience of function and beauty at home.

One step closer

If there’s one thing the past two years have taught us, it’s that doing a lot of activities from the safety of our homes is more than possible. From virtual meetings to online seminars, we have tried and tested a variety of ways to make the concept of working from home simply work. However, it’s now time to bring back the joy and excitement of experiencing events in person, and this one in particular is once again, in collaboration with Scavolini.

BluPrint has done numerous webinars in the last couple of years, and these were all done where each speaker was safe and sound at home. This time around, our esteemed guests will be meeting with each other face to face as we slowly resurrect in-person discussions. However, this event will still only be broadcasted on BluPrint’s social media channels for our audience to remain on the safe side of things.
