This year’s Projeto Design Competition challenges the participants with the question, how can we improve the commuting experience in Manila?
With its third year in Manila, the Projeto Design Competition continues on in challenging the wits and the design skills of the young professionals throughout the Philippines. For 2021, the competition focuses on Projeto Manila: Honing the Future Through Competition, with the theme of Intermodal Transportation: Revolutionizing Metro Manila’s Transportation Facilities. Its goal is for participants to develop innovative solutions on how to improve the daily commute of the ordinary Filipino through safe and efficient facilities such as intermodal transportation terminals.
Projeto Manila Design Competition 2021 carries on in inspiring architects and engineers in creating a better and sustainable Philippines in the future. This year, there were seven teams, composed of future great architects, engineers, and young professionals, that had prepared design solutions, heeding to the call of the competition’s challenge. Although the competition proper was postponed due to the pandemic, WORLDBEX still takes pride and honor in presenting the different creations and solutions of the finalists.
