Admit it or not, it’s not only the quality of food or dining experience why we dine in a restaurant. Undoubtedly, a restaurant with a unique concept and eye-popping interiors can raise our excitement level the moment we step in. Amazonico is one of them. The unique jungle concept is a real stand-out taking inspiration from the gastronomic heritage of the Amazon region. This restaurant makes your eyes drool for its greenery and vibrant color interiors while transporting you to the wild jungle of amazon!

About Amazonico

Amazonico is a three-story property located at Dubai’s International Financial Center (DIFC). It originated in Madrid with the owners Sandro Silva and Marta Seco. The restaurants have branches in London and Madrid, where the same interior vibrant feel dominates all of its branches. Stamped in Amazonico was the great design by Interior Designer Lazaro Rosa Violan, an internationally acclaimed restaurant designer. At the same time, the restaurant itself was awarded the best Latin-American restaurant in Dubai in 2021.

The restaurant has been popular with the diverse, upscale crowd in Dubai, most guests keep returning not only because of the food it serves but also because it soaks up the diners with its boosted and Instagram-able atmosphere. Every foodie and interior design junkie should visit this place for an elegantly laid amazon jungle experience, a far cry from many any restaurants you will see otherwise in Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).

Interior Details

Upon entering the restaurant, a 10-meter cocktail bar and an eye-popping lounge area will greet you with an organic and verdant vibe on the ground floor. Everything you see is eye-catching. The Amazonian butterflies are all over the place as glowing glass light fittings. A sushi bar near the burnt-orange banquet and woven-hessian lamps perfectly match with giant illuminated feathers in lucid colors. Moreover, a spiral staircase leading to the second floor also becomes one of the restaurant’s design statements. Mirror tiles on the side railings reflect the deep mossy carpet underfoot, chandelier, and greeneries above. You’ll surely slow down while going up to linger every journey on the way up to your table. Indoor and outdoor dining areas are also on the second floor, where the diners can see the chefs working on delicious Latin-American cuisine.

Although the concept is wild amazon jungle, you might be thinking of an unsuitable design that you might get lost upon looking at it, but it’s not. Amazonico is another great mismatch design with harmony and consistency. The energetic vibe of interiors and food is consistent all over the place. Rosa Violan says that “We never think of design in isolation. You feel good in restaurants when everything is in harmony – the taste of food, the scent of the air, the sound of a footstep on the ground. – that’s when you get a positive feeling.”
