Philippine property firms at the FIABCI 2020 World Congress

Showcasing innovations on May 26-30 are top property firms Megaworld, Robinsons Land Corporation, Federal Land, and Prime Homes

With the congress’ theme “Urban Revolution”, property firms will contribute to the idea of planning how global cities of the future will take shape. In the context of today’s evolving environment such as massive city migration, increased urban density, transport and mobility constraints from the ever-growing vehicular volume, water and air pollution, sanitation threats, natural calamities, and disasters, these top Philippine property firms constitute a global real estate industry that can and is poised to bring about an urban revolution across the world.

“The property firms would be seen showcasing their unique attributes to a widely cosmopolitan market vis-à-vis a foreign supply and value chain with its own world-class capabilities,” said FIABCI Philippines president Architect Nestor S. Mangio. He gave away a few details about each firm’s installation.

Citing Megaworld’s township as an example, Mangio said that property firms are practically creating urban lifestyles while optimizing land use, expanding tourism capacity, generating employment and entrepreneurial opportunities, promoting commerce, and virtually introducing a new way of living altogether.

All the property firms are into ecologic, economic, and ergonomic urban development where everything is within reach.

The property firm’s projects serve as precursors to the rise of cities that will introduce safe and comfortable roads for bikers and pedestrians.

New construction materials like aerated concrete that can float on water and provide significant thermal insulation will be featured in some of the presentations. Others will present structures with reinforced joints of beams and columns to create an earthquake-resistant structure by addressing the weakest links.
