1 Study In The Corner

If you have a studio unit, you can reserve a corner by the window so you can have ample light and air. Besides, it’s another way to somehow isolate your working area from the rest of your condo’s open floor layout.

Another corner study you can try is a boxed off area in your condo by placing two desks together. In the photo below, the extended ledge is connected to a work desk, leaving the work space cordoned off without walls. You can place a work desk in front of a huge open shelf where you can store all your work files and other knick knacks—your bulky printer, too! You can also make your simple corner study more exciting and inspiring with the things you actually love and care about. The work space on the left displays a post card from one of the owner’s travels, as well as figures that she loves. On the right, the owner of the work station makes use of his collection of Eraserheads merchandise and other memorabilia.

2 Shared Study

For young couples, you can turn one of your rooms into a full study, like the Santos’ work station in their 190-sqm condo. Their designer, Hannah Acab-Faustino, incorporated the young family’s memorabilias in creating this space, stored in open shelves over their long desk. They even have a resting sofa behind for when working at home gets tough.

3 Divide And Conquer

Dividing your work space when you share your unit with someone else. Take cues from millennial power couple Kris Abrigo and Soleil Ignacio. Kris occupies the space opposite to Soleil’s work space. Each work station has its own character unique to Kris and Soleil. Read More: FIRST LOOK: Kris Abrigo and Soleil Ignacio’s Condo

4 Multi-tasking At Home

If you’ve just started working from home, and you haven’t set up a working station, you can make your available rooms multi-task to your needs. One room you can turn into a study is your rarely used guest room, just look at the condo below. The bed space is elevated and underneath is the entire work space. rustic industrial condo
