Marc Aran Reyes' paintings

Reyes’ hyperrealistic oil paintings show a world where realism dances with emotions and calmness. They continue to offer a paramount use of a modern palette consisting of copious white, grey, and black shades but show an inclination to classical techniques such as layering and chiaroscuro. His visuals have negative spaces that somehow represent silent, slow, tranquil emotions that propound both pictorial depth and motion through time. The outcome in Marc Aran Reyes’ oil paintings is aesthetically meditative.
