A sleek kitchen makeover needs a good mix of both style and function. Danish design powerhouse Vipp certainly had this in mind for the V1 Kitchen, and built up on its best ideas for its second iteration. For V2, they brought a different dimension to the V1 by dressing up its modular format with a brand new material palette.

Ever wondered what the V1 would look like with natural materials like wood or stone? This is the perfect time to check out the V2. In this new kitchen system, Vipp takes pride in blending dark oak and Jura marble with anodized metal and reeded glass. This allowed them to give the familiar V1 a fresh and sophisticated look.

“While our first kitchen made in steel presented a raw and refined industrial design, the V2 is crafted in wood, stone, glass and metal adding a new organic tactility and materiality to kitchen architecture,” said Morten Bo Jensen, Chief Designer at Vipp.

Cabinet fronts in dark oak veneer are definitely the star of the new collection. However, glass or alu doors also add a playful and refined design element to the V2. Both versions feature a push-click opening mechanism. The reeded glass doors framed by anodized aluminum are also semi-transparent. This way, users can have give a peek into the contents of the cabinet. Built-in lighting discreetly mounted under each shelf is another stylish touch.

Meanwhile, the V2 countertops showcase Jura marble sourced from the Alb region in Bavaria. This dense, fine-grained sedimentary rock is known for being abundant in fossils. Its distinct look formed from the shallow sea that submerged large areas of Southern Germany around 160 million years ago. Jura is a unique relic that adds an exquisite touch of nature to a kitchen space.

Thinking of upgrading from V1? V2 seamlessly integrates with the modular kitchen pieces and appliances known from the first system. So, it’s easy to integrate existing V1 items to complete your designer kitchen. Likewise, those who love the modularity, utilities, and building-block approach of the V1 will find the same pre-defined units, drawer constructions, and interior fittings retained in this new version.
