Solihiya

A traditional Filipino woven cane pattern, usually of rattan, formed into an open, star-like hexagonal weave. Commonly seen on the seats and backs of chairs, beds, and benches, solihiya keeps furniture cool and breathable in tropical heat and remains a recognizable symbol of Filipino craftsmanship.
