The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the list of passers for the Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA) given by the Board of Architecture headed by its Chairman, Architect Robert S. Sac with two other members, Architect Robert M. Mirafuente and Architect Corazon V. Fabia-Tandoc. 

According to the PRC, 2,924 out of 4,784 passed the said licensure exam which was held in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga last June 9 and 11, 2023. The results were released in three working days after the last day of examination.

Fritz Mari Sangalang from the Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU) topped the licensure exam. Meanwhile, Rizza Mae Marollano from the University of Nueva Caceres (UNC) placed second and Nadine Anne Laurente from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) got the third top spot.

When it comes to school performance, the University of the Philippines – Diliman (UPD) ranked first with 100 percent passing rate. Other universities joining UPD in the Top 5 include Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main-Sta. Mesa with 89.47 percent passing rate, UST at 87.82 percent, Mapua University (for M.I.T.) – Manila at 81.69 percent, and ADDU at 80.33 percent.

On August 14 to 18, August 22 to 25 and August 29 to 31, 2023, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online. Go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), two pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps and one piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
