Wilcon Depot Welcomes 2022 with 73 Physical Stores Nationwide

Wilcon Depot, the country’s leading home improvement and building store, has successfully opened ten new stores and ended 2021 with 73 stores nationwide. Such a great feat for a small company that had its humble beginnings in 1977 in a 60-sqm hardware store to transform into an institution in the retail homeware industry.

The company inaugurated four (4) new stores in the first half of the year located at Makato, Aklan; Capitol, Commonwealth; Ormoc City, Leyte; and Cordon, Isabela. For the second half, Wilcon held six (6) more store openings at Wilcon Depot Sorsogon City; Wilcon Depot Pila, Laguna; Wilcon Depot Tagum; Wilcon Home Essentials San Fernando; Wilcon Depot Dauis, Bohol; and Wilcon Depot Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

In the month of May, Wilcon also introduced a new way for all valued customers to shop for their home improvement and building needs. The retail giant launched a bigger and better online shopping site, the Wilcon Online Store.

With its goal to provide a frictionless home shopping experience, every homeowner and builder nationwide can enjoy exclusive perks, limitless browsing, and seamless shopping through their store’s website. They can also choose to have their items delivered right at their doorsteps or choose to pick them up in-store.

Wilcon also launched the Home Living Section in all of its branches nationwide. It is a new store feature that exhibits thematically arranged spaces set in different themes. This feature offers lifestyle inspirations that customers can recreate in their areas with products they can get from the extensive line of furniture, decors, and other home interior products.

Wilcon Depot now has 18 branches in Metro Manila and 55 stores in key cities and municipalities of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The retail giant is surely looking forward to fulfilling its goals set as Wilcon plans to open 10 stores in 2022.

The continued efforts to provide excellent home shopping to every Filipino in the country is part of the company’s #FlyingHighTo100 store expansion campaign, wherein they aim to have 100 operating stores nationwide by 2025, barring any unexpected external factors. The store openings also offer great job opportunities, especially for the local residents in every city and province that Wilcon builds on.
