Opening on December 12, 2025, the World Bazaar Festival (WBF) concluded on December 21. For 25 years, the WBF has been the metro’s most anticipated one-stop shop and holiday marketplace. The event showcased booths, products, and great finds—creating moments for everyone to bond. As a joyful platform, it embraced the spirit of the season: sharing, celebrating, and coming together.

Annual Charity Event

Each year, the WBF is held for the benefit of the ABS-CBN Foundation and is organized by the leading event organizers in the country, Worldbex Services International. In the spirit of giving, the Festival presented tokens and gifts to 100 children during its opening day. Inside, the highlights include the Christmas Village, DTI MIMAROPA Pavilion, Designer’s Avenue, Woobie’s Goodies, Woobie’s Food World, Woobie’s Pet Zone, DA Pavilion, and many more.

Not only did the event open a space for Filipino shoppers, but it also collaborated with government institutions. Partnering with the Department of Trade and Industry provided people with an avenue to taste and buy handicraft items from the MIMAROPA region. Meanwhile, in its partnership with the Department of Agriculture, people were further introduced to other regional items across the country.

Beyond local booths, the Festival also collaborated with global business owners. At Designer’s Avenue, shoppers were offered a wide range of branded apparel and accessories at affordable prices.

A Joyful Holiday

The Festival wrapped up the year with full holiday cheer. With Christmas just around the corner, Filipinos were given the space to explore, enjoy the holiday rush, and shop to their heart’s content.

Frequently Asked Questions

Organized by Worldbex Services International, the WBF has spent 25 years as a dedicated fundraising platform for the ABS-CBN Foundation. The spirit of giving was highlighted on the 2025 opening day, where the festival provided gifts and tokens to 100 children. Every purchase made at the bazaar contributes to the foundation’s various social welfare and emergency relief programs across the Philippines.

In collaboration with government institutions, the WBF featured specialized zones to promote regional trade:
DTI MIMAROPA Pavilion: A dedicated space for handicrafts and products specifically from the MIMAROPA region (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan).
DA Pavilion: Partnering with the Department of Agriculture, this zone introduced shoppers to diverse regional food items and agricultural products from across the country, bridging the gap between provincial producers and urban consumers.

To manage the “holiday rush” and provide a structured shopping experience, the festival was divided into several high-traffic zones:
Designer’s Avenue: A space for global business owners to offer branded apparel and accessories at discounted prices.
Woobie’s Food World: The central culinary hub of the bazaar.
Christmas Village: The aesthetic centerpiece of the event.
Specialty Zones: Including Woobie’s Goodies, Woobie’s Pet Zone, and various government-sponsored pavilions.

The WBF acts as a hybrid marketplace. While it heavily promotes Filipino small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) through DTI and DA partnerships, it also opens the floor to global business owners. This allows local shoppers access to international brands at bazaar prices while giving global entrepreneurs a direct entry point into the lucrative Filipino Christmas shopping market.

Reaching its “Silver” year, the World Bazaar Festival has solidified its status as the longest-running annual charity bazaar in the Philippines. By combining retail therapy with social responsibility, it has created a sustainable model for event organizing that balances commercial success with community impact, consistently drawing massive crowds to the World Trade Center for over two decades.
