Centuries ago, Porac was Pampanga’s first established town, rich in Purac trees and fertile agricultural lands. However, the eruption of Mount Pinatubo reshaped the lush fields into stark barren terrain, leaving the community vulnerable. Despite the devastation, this tragedy became the bedrock for reinvention.
