The Essence of Conscious Living
In a world where our attention is a precious commodity, conscious living emerges as a thoughtful response. It’s a path to greater awareness, intention, and alignment with our deepest values. Unlike fleeting trends, it is an evolving approach that profoundly extends into the spaces we inhabit.
To live with such intention means to cultivate a home into a true sanctuary: a place that nurtures our well-being, reflects our personal narrative, and supports a life lived with purpose and mindfulness. It involves intentional choices—from the way we craft our interiors and the atmospheres we invoke—prioritizing quality over clutter, sustainability over superficiality, and always, a deep connection to what truly matters.
To explore the multifaceted essence of conscious living through the lens of design, BluPrint Homes invited a distinguished group of Manila’s most insightful creative minds. We tasked them with styling unique vignettes using the timeless and thoughtfully crafted furniture of Ethan Allen, each to interpret this profound theme in their signature way.
We are thrilled to present the visions of BluPrint’s own editorial team led by Editor-in-Chief Geewel Fuster, with interior designers Rossy Yabut Rojales of Hurray Design, Tet Tiu-Alano of Tproperty + MATA Design, and Joliza Tan of Twenty Four Builders.
Their interpretations, diverse yet united by a common thread of intentionality, reveal how our homes can become powerful conduits for a more mindful and fulfilling existence. Ethan Allen, with its longstanding commitment to quality craftsmanship, enduring style, and responsible practices, provides the perfect foundation for these explorations into purposeful created settings.
Cultivating Connection
For the heart of the home, BluPrint Editor-in-Chief Geewel Fuster, in a thoughtful collaboration with interior designer Jegs Santos and the editorial team, approached the living room vignette as a canvas to “represent the new era of Ethan Allen”—a style that is “still timeless and chic with new forms and materials creating modern stylish pieces.”
A Sanctuary for Restorative Living

The bedroom serves as a vital cornerstone of a consciously lived life where rest and rejuvenation are paramount. For this vignette, Rossy Yabut Rojales’ primary goal was to manifest the bedroom as “a retreat—a place for comfort and relaxation,” especially “in a fast-paced urban environment.”
Intentional Gatherings, Enduring Style

Tet Tiu-Alano’s approach is a “modern style with a strong architectural point of view,” favoring “proportion, texture, and pieces that feel sculptural and grounded.” Her dining room vignette is an exploration of conscious living through a space that felt “composed but comfortable, refined but not too formal.” It reflects a lifestyle that values “ease, comfort, and simple, intentional design.”
A Study in Serenity

For Joliza Tan, the home office should be conducive to productivity, but also relaxation, inspiration, and overall well-being. Her vignette evokes a sense of calm upon first glance, and fosters a mood of sophisticated serenity. This considered approach transforms the workplace into a haven for mindful work.
Weaving Purpose into Our Spaces
These vignettes are far more than exercises in style; they’re direct expressions of BluPrint Homes’ core mission. “As we launch the first issue BluPrint Homes,” Fuster states, “our narrative is to define the new era of conscious living, and in partnership with Ethan Allen, we hit the right direction to present our brand ethos.”
Born from such clear and collaborative visions, these spaces invite pause, connection, and a more intentional way of life. “Ethan Allen is an ideal brand in this generation’s willingness to become conscious about being sustainable,” the architect posits. “These principles are as fundamental to their definition of quality as the handcrafted details that make their products so exceptional.” Fuster affirms, “This is BluPrint Home’s vision in this very first issue.”
