Creative Collaborations Bring Bold Aesthetics to Life

To bring the brands’ aesthetics to life, Opulence partnered with top Filipino creatives. Meanwhile, Chat Fores curated Polspotten’s playful and eclectic designs, demonstrating how they can transform homes into works of art.

Gerry and Jinky Sy, owners of Opulence Design Concept, expressed their vision for the launch. “Jonathan Adler and Polspotten are more than design brands. They celebrate personal style and creativity,” they shared.

Whimsy Meets Modern Glamour

Jonathan Adler’s bold handcrafted ceramics and mid-century influences offer vibrant homeware with a whimsical touch. The American designer, known for his whimsical approach to interior design, blends mid-century modern influences with bold colors, graphic patterns, and playful motifs. Starting his career as a potter, Adler gained recognition when Barneys New York picked up his ceramics in the 1990s.

He later expanded his brand to include furniture, lighting, and home accessories, championing “modern American glamour” with luxurious yet cheerful designs. Adler’s work, showcased in flagship stores and high-end retailers worldwide, extends to hotel interiors like The Parker Palm Springs and collaborations with brands like Barbie and Lacoste. His philosophy, “If your heirs won’t fight over it, we won’t make it,” reflects his focus on timeless, expressive creations.

Polspotten, an Amsterdam-based brand, is celebrated for its unique pieces that stand as conversation starters. Established in Amsterdam in 1986, the brand creates vibrant, statement-making furniture, lighting, and decorative objects that infuse modern design with a touch of humor.
