Heart Evangelista, Opulence Design Concept’s brand ambassador, highlighted the evening’s purpose. “Luxury is not just about material things. It’s about time with loved ones and supporting important causes,” she said.

Creative Collaborations Bring Bold Aesthetics to Life

To bring the brands’ aesthetics to life, Opulence partnered with top Filipino creatives. Interior designer Rossy Rojales styled Jonathan Adler’s vibrant and whimsical pieces, showcasing their ability to energize any space. Meanwhile, Chat Fores curated Polspotten’s playful and eclectic designs, demonstrating how they can transform homes into works of art.

The evening featured an auction benefiting Bosom Buddies, spotlighting artistry and collaboration. Two Jonathan Adler vases were hand-painted by notable artists. Brazilian artist Ciane Xavier added her signature blend of traditional and contemporary styles, while Filipino designer and painter Tessa Alindogan showcased her artistry, recognized globally in prestigious venues.

Gerry and Jinky Sy, owners of Opulence Design Concept, expressed their vision for the launch. “Jonathan Adler and Polspotten are more than design brands. They celebrate personal style and creativity,” they shared.

Whimsy Meets Modern Glamour

Jonathan Adler’s bold handcrafted ceramics and mid-century influences offer vibrant homeware with a whimsical touch. The American designer, known for his whimsical approach to interior design, blends mid-century modern influences with bold colors, graphic patterns, and playful motifs. Starting his career as a potter, Adler gained recognition when Barneys New York picked up his ceramics in the 1990s.

He later expanded his brand to include furniture, lighting, and home accessories, championing “modern American glamour” with luxurious yet cheerful designs. Adler’s work, showcased in flagship stores and high-end retailers worldwide, extends to hotel interiors like The Parker Palm Springs and collaborations with brands like Barbie and Lacoste. His philosophy, “If your heirs won’t fight over it, we won’t make it,” reflects his focus on timeless, expressive creations.

Polspotten, an Amsterdam-based brand, is celebrated for its unique pieces that stand as conversation starters. Established in Amsterdam in 1986, the brand creates vibrant, statement-making furniture, lighting, and decorative objects that infuse modern design with a touch of humor.

Renowned for its artisanal craftsmanship and global collaborations, Polspotten produces unique, small-batch items that appeal to those seeking personality and individuality in their interiors. With a presence in high-end stores and design projects worldwide, the brand inspires creativity by encouraging bold experimentation and mixing styles.

The launch reinforced Opulence Design Concept’s commitment to redefining luxury interiors in the Philippines. Guests explored how the collections transform ordinary living spaces into expressions of art, all while supporting a meaningful cause.

Since 2019, Opulence Design Concept has brought world-class design closer to Filipino homes with its selection of furniture, tableware, linens, and home accessories. They curate a wide range of luxury international homeware brands, including Fornasetti, Versace Home, MisuraEmme, Dolce & Gabbana Casa, and Versace by Rosenthal.
