Architects and designers constantly navigate the challenge of sourcing materials that deliver a high-end aesthetic without exceeding project budgets. This often leads to compromises where a design vision is scaled back to meet financial realities. In response, surfacing solutions provider Ashton has introduced the Silestone Suma Color Series, engineered specifically to bridge the gap between premium design and affordability.
The new collection, introduced at an event titled “Designing Tomorrow: Where Sustainability Meets Style,” emphasizes the growing synergy between material innovation, environmental consciousness, and sophisticated design aesthetics. The launch also served to commemorate Ashton’s 30-year history of collaboration within the industry.
Hosted at Gallery by Chele, just steps away from Ashton’s BGC Showroom, the gathering brought together esteemed architects, interior designers, and media representatives. The event underscored the company’s forward-looking vision, which intricately weaves together sustainable practices with timeless design.

High-Design Palettes, Attainable Price Point
Bronze Rivers.
The core of this new solution is a curated palette that brings the look of luxury materials into a wider range of projects. The Suma Color Series, a mineral hybrid surface, emulates the elegance of natural stone with the enhanced performance of modern engineering. The versatile collection offers a spectrum of warm, light, and textured surfaces.
Siberian, Persian White, and Motion Grey.
It features Bronze Rivers, which provides a luxurious reinterpretation of classic marble with graceful gold and gray veins on a warm white backdrop, and Siberian, inspired by the fluid veining of Calacatta marble to evoke a quiet, organic rhythm. The collection also includes Persian White, a luminous and elegant white characterized by fine, cream-toned veins, alongside Motion Grey, a soft, limestone-inspired surface with a granitic texture.
Linen Cream.
Rounding out the series is Linen Cream, a surface of subtle complexity with understated veining that adds depth to neutral-toned spaces. Available in both a high-shine polished finish and a tactile, velvety matte suede finish, the series allows for tailored specifications without the typical cost premium.

Sustainable Innovation without Compromise
Achieving this balance of cost and quality is made possible by Cosentino’s pioneering Hybriq+® technology. This advanced manufacturing process utilizes 100% renewable energy and 99% reused water while incorporating a minimum of 20% recycled materials. The result is a durable surface with a significantly lower silica content, ensuring that affordability does not come at the expense of sustainability or longevity.
“As we continue to move toward a future where sustainability and style must go hand in hand, the Suma Color Series represents a beautiful balance between performance, aesthetics, and purpose,” said Jennifer Cobankiat Sy, Vice President of Ashton. She further explained the collection’s strategic positioning, noting that “for this launch, Cosentino has taken [market feedback] into consideration… The Suma series has similar colors to those in the higher-priced groups, but the price group is much lower, so they call it something that we can use for a builders series or for more affordable series.”
A Legacy of Partnership and Quality
The launch reinforces Ashton’s 30-year legacy of industry collaboration, demonstrating a commitment to addressing the real-world needs of design professionals. “Ashton’s success over the past 30 years has been built on strong partnerships and our meaningful connections,” stated Strategic Operations Lead, Kieran Sy during the event. “These relationships have not only shaped our journey, they have been the very foundation of our progress. We truly believe that the relationships we’ve built will remain at the heart of everything we do now and in the years to come.”

This foundational ethos is backed by comprehensive service that extends beyond distribution. On the company’s holistic approach, it was noted, “Beyond just being a distributor for these products… we also do the fabrication [and] installation. We serviced a lot of projects where, if there are any issues, we come back even after installation is done. We’ll work with our clients to make sure that they get the kitchens that they want and make sure everything’s smoothed out.” This commitment to after-sales support, coupled with a 25-year warranty, assures architects and designers of the material’s long-term performance and the company’s role as a true project partner.
Ashton’s launch of the Silestone Suma Color Series represents a direct and well-executed response to an industry need. By successfully fusing sophisticated aesthetics, sustainable manufacturing, and an accessible price point, Ashton has curated a powerful tool that empowers architects and designers to realize their creative visions without the traditional compromises. This strategic move not only enhances their material offerings but also solidifies their 30-year reputation as an attentive and invaluable partner in building the future of design.
