Terrazzo

A composite flooring and surface material made from chips of marble, granite, glass, or other aggregates set in cement or resin, then ground and polished smooth. Durable and cool underfoot, terrazzo was common in mid-century Philippine buildings and is enjoying a revival in contemporary interiors.
